Much awaited, 8th India Association Congress, which was schedule to held during 4-5 September 2020, has cancelled its in-person meeting & exhibition, respecting public health and safety concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead, organiser is working with its scheduled speakers and event sponsors to deliver a virtual event on 11 September 2020. Registration information, exact dates for sessions and activities, and industry partner opportunities for the virtual event will be released by 04th August 2020.
“As excited as we were to put on a robust, memorable in-person annual meeting in Sri Lanka and celebrate first ever cross border event with the association community, the public health and safety of our attendees, staff, and volunteers outweighed any other considerations in our decision-making process,” said Prasant Saha, Chairman of India Association Congress.
The 2020 event not only was to offer educational and networking opportunities but also for the first time in the history of India Association Congress decided to take this across the border to Sri Lanka, in true spirit of ‘connected associations’ and building bridges between south Asian association leaders.
“We have now shifted gears and are immersed in creating the most dynamic virtual annual meeting experience possible. Virtual attendees can expect the same great content that we have been delivering in previous editions”, said Prasant Saha, Chairman of India Association Congress.
